Biorevitalization
Biorevitalization is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves injecting hyaluronic acid-based gels into the dermis. The method is used to moisturize, improve skin condition, prevent aging, restore damaged tissues and enhance the protective functions of the epidermis.
What is the difference between biorevitalization and mesotherapy and bioreparation
The active component of products for biorevitalization is hyaluronic acid - most often unstabilized. Prolonged action products may contain cross-linked polymer chains.
Why is uncross-linked hyaluronic acid used in preparations for biorevitalization? Such an active ingredient immediately enters the dermis, triggers biological processes at the cellular level faster, distributes evenly and moisturizes the skin. At the same time, the decay period of such HA without cross-linking is, of course, shorter. Therefore, it is important to achieve a cumulative effect with a course of biorevitalization sessions.
Unlike meso cocktails which contain many components and not always hyaluronic acid, biorevitalizing gels always contain HA and may contain 1-2 additional substances - most often mannitol and glycerol. Such components are more likely to act as stabilizers and prolongers rather than active ingredients.
The goal of biorevitalization is to improve the overall condition of the skin, restore hydro-balance, and "slow down" aging processes. At the same time, mesotherapy is mainly aimed at solving narrower problems, such as whitening, anti-pigmentation, lifting, alopecia, elimination of dark circles under the eyes, acne, rosacea and so on.
Biorevitalization differs from bioreparation, the main purpose of which is rejuvenation at the cellular level, in that it is a universal procedure suitable for young women and men, as well as for patients of mature age.
Indications for biorevitalization
Biorevitalizing injections are performed for:
- dull complexion, smoker's skin;
- dry and flabby skin;
- fine lines and wrinkles;
- the first signs of photoaging.
Intradermal injection of hyaluronic acid is also recommended to prepare and restore the skin after the heating season, beach holidays and traumatic cosmetic manipulations.
Features of the procedure
Biorevitalization injections are performed at a superficial level using techniques:
- papular;
- bolus and microbolus (only Profilo biorevitalization - 5 active spots);
- linear retrograde;
- fan;
- bioreinforcement.
The technique is selected by the cosmetologist depending on the product and the cosmetic task. The course of procedures is usually recommended by the manufacturer, the exact number of sessions is determined by the initial condition of the skin. In most cases, 3-6 treatments are required. However, today there are biorevitalizing preparations available for single application. Their price is higher than the classic biorevitalizants, but the effect is faster and lasts longer. Some of such cocktails are additionally enriched with polylactic acid molecules, calcium hydroxyapatite, lysine and so on (for example, Italian-Swiss biorevitalizants Neauvia).
There are so many great products for biorevitalization on the market today that it is difficult to make a definitive choice. It is always an "art" of a real cosmetologist to choose the best cocktail for the patient, because the same product will have different effects on different skin and will not last the same amount of time.
How to buy a biorevitalization product that works
What does a specialist rely on when selecting a solution to rejuvenate his patient's skin?
- Age of the patient: some cocktails are designed to moisturize and prevent early aging, while others are designed to eliminate the problems of aging skin after 45 years old;
- Reviews, certificates, high quality and practically proven effectiveness of the product, confirmed by appropriate clinical research;
- A manufacturing company with a high level of trust and an impeccable reputation that meets international standards;
- Skin type and severity of problems;
- The patient's history and the state of the body in terms of contraindications and possible allergic reactions to the components of the preparation;
- The area to be treated to buy the optimal dose of filler;
- Possibility of simultaneous injection with other cosmetic preparations and joint procedures for complex therapy.
The peculiarity of biorevitalization injections is the possibility of their use at any age, as they are quite effective and safe for all skin types and age groups.
For injections into young skin under 30, which shows the first signs of aging in the form of increased dryness and flabbiness of the skin, revitalizants with pure unstabilized low concentration hyaluronic acid are ideal. These preparations are intended for deep moisturizing and activation of biochemical processes in cells, aimed at intensive production of native hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin fibers.
The injection of biorevitalization for cellular hydration of the skin, its glow, smoothing the meshes of the first wrinkles is recommended from the age of 35 years. But in case of increased dryness a specialist can prescribe a course of biorevitalization even earlier.
Is it worth buying preparation for biorevitalization under the eyes and in the periorbital area?
Skin biorevitalization is performed on the face in different areas, as well as on the decollete area, neck and hands. It is important to understand that biorevitalizants are hygroscopic preparations due to the ability of sodium hyaluronate molecules to attract and retain water molecules. In this regard, it is important to choose special products for deep moisturizing in the periorbital area that can guarantee the absence of "bags" and swelling under the eyes after the procedure. Unlike deep punctures of mesopreparations to treat dark circles, hernias in the periorbital area, biorevitalizants gently and painlessly reduce bruises and bags under the eyes, eliminate dry skin and help to tighten fine wrinkles.
Papules and small bruises after punctures after biorevitalization go away on their own 72 hours after the procedure. The recovery period may be longer, depending on the individual characteristics of the patient's skin. The effect of hydration and rejuvenation lasts up to six months, but to get the cumulative effect it is recommended to undergo a course of injections followed by supporting procedures.

Contraindications are similar to all injection products:

- allergy and hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the solution;
- inflammation or dermatological diseases in the injection area;
- autoimmune pathology;
- oncology;
- epilepsy;
- therapy with anticoagulants or steroids;
- age under 18 years old.
