Main characteristics

Until 2018, the injectable was produced under the brand name Filorga. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the manufacturing company Filorga Medical (France), its name was changed to Fillmed Laboratories, the brand name became Fillmed by Filorga. 

Fillmed Laboratories produces professional cosmetics and acid peelings, preparations for intradermal injection occupy a special place in its product range: 

• fillers (XNA);
• meso cocktails (NCTF);
• preparations for biorevitalization (M-HA).

The line of preparations for biorevitalization includes two products: M-HA 10 is a light gel suitable for young and sensitive skin, and M-HA 18 is a denser product, the so-called " lightly cross-linked filler ", recommended for improvement and rejuvenation of the skin of patients after 30 years.

The active ingredients of M-HA 18 are:

• unstabilized hyaluronic acid at a concentration of 18 mg/ml;
• glycerol - 20 mg/ml.

Hyaluronic acid creates a hydro deposit in the dermal tissues, thanks to which the cells receive the necessary amount of moisture, maintaining skin density and elasticity. Glycerol enhances the effect of the natural polymer and provides an antioxidant effect, slows the aging process. Moreover, biorevitalization stimulates the body's own production of hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin, activates regenerative processes.

The bioactive gel is available in 1 ml syringes with two 30G needles. Fillmed M-HA 18 is reasonably priced due to the convenient package, which is designed for 1 procedure.
 

Application area

Biorevitalizing injections can be performed on the face, neck, decollete and the back of the hands. The procedure is recommended in the following cases:

• increasing the density and elasticity of the skin;
• obtaining an even tone and structure of the skin;
• smoothing of vertical lip lines and "crow's feet", reduction of deeper wrinkles;
• elimination of dryness and dehydration of tissues;
• lightening of dark circles under eyes and pigment spots;
• smoothing of scars and post acne scars;
• lifting the facial oval, tightening of skin sagging.

The gel is equally suitable for women and men with different skin types. Biorevitalization can be performed alone or in combination with Fillmed filler injections, manual and apparatus procedures.
 

Procedure protocol

Fillmed M-HA 18 injections can only be performed by a specialist with medical education, who is certified to have been trained to work with preparation for biorevitalization. Manipulation is performed on cleaned and treated skin with antiseptic. The gel does not contain lidocaine. If the patient is sensitive to pain, a surface anesthetic must be applied to the injected areas.

The depth of injections is superficial. For intradermal injection of the preparation, the following techniques are used:

• papular;
• linear retrograde (for filling wrinkles);
• infiltration (for smoothing scars);
• fan;
• bio reinforcement.

The recommended course of treatment is 3-4 treatments at an interval of 1 month.
 

Result of application

The skin looks healthier, smoother and younger, fine lines and wrinkles are smoothed out and deep lines are reduced. The first results can be noticed after just one session. The effect lasts up to 6-8 months.

Swelling, puncture marks and bruises remain for several days. Within a day after the procedure, patients should refrain from washing with water, using decorative cosmetics. For 5-7 days, exclude heavy physical activity, bathing, swimming pool, beach and solarium.
 

Contraindications

Standard contraindications to biorevitalization are:

• pregnancy and at least six months of breastfeeding;
• blood clotting disorders, taking anticoagulants;
• a history of severe allergies;
• oncological diseases;
• autoimmune pathologies;
• exacerbation of chronic diseases;
• presence of wounds and skin inflammations in the injection area.

If the patient is inclined to swelling, the gel should not be injected into the area around the eyes.
 

Storage and transport 

Store the lightly cross-linked filler in a darkened room at +2C +25C. Do not heat, do not freeze, do not damage the package.
