Basic properties

Belotero Soft with lidocaine ® is a part of the Belotero ® line of hyaluronic fillers produced by the German company Merz Aesthetics. The injectable product with a light structure is used to fill fine wrinkles, eliminate superficial scars and increase skin elasticity. The product can be used alone and in combination with denser fillers of the Belotero ® brand or other brands.

Belotero Soft Lidocaine ® is produced as a transparent sterile gel and is the lightest filler in the line, which also includes Balance, Intense, Volume, and two products for contouring and volume correction of the lips - Lips Contour and Lips Shape. 

The composition of the intradermal filler consists of:

  • hyaluronic acid - 20 mg/ml;
  • lidocaine - 3 mg / ml;
  • phosphate buffer.

The manufacturer also produces a lidocaine-free version of biocorrector Soft. The uniqueness of gel Soft, as well as other products of the line, lies in the use of patented technology Cohesive Polydensified Matrix (CPM). The product contains cross-linked and non-cross-linked chains of hyaluronic acid, purified from the residues of stabilizing agent BDDE, proteins and endotoxins. 

The filler has high fluidity and plasticity, is easily injected and evenly distributed in the intercellular area. That is why Belotero Soft ® is suitable for correction in the unique blanching technique, when wrinkles in areas with delicate thin skin are filled in the surface layer with papules. The gel injections are friendly to the dermal tissues and usually do not cause allergic reactions. The main advantage of the preparation is a natural and predictable result, a guarantee of absence of side effects. The safety of the filler is confirmed by a European certificate of quality.

Biodegradable gel Belotero Soft Lidocaine ® can be purchased on our website in ready to use syringes of 1 ml. The kit includes 2 30G ½ needles.

Application area of Belotero Soft Lidocaine ®, filler based on hyaluronic acid 1 ml

Injections of the gel can be applied to face areas, especially in thin, sensitive skin, in the forehead, around the eyes and lips, on the neck, decollete, and on the back of the palms.

Indications for injections of the preparation are:

  • "crow's feet ";
  • vertical lip lines;
  • superficial folds on the forehead and between the eyebrows;
  • sagging, loss of skin turgor;
  • dryness of epidermis;
  • superficial scars.

The product is suitable for women and men with any skin type, but it is most effective for skin prone to dryness. The filler copes only with small irregularities, for correction of post acne scars a denser preparation is needed.

Procedure protocol

Before injections, the cosmetologist necessarily conducts a consultation with the patient and excludes contraindications to the procedure. The syringe with the gel and needles are unsealed in the presence of the patient. The skin in the areas to be treated is cleaned and disinfected. The gel is injected into the deep dermis in the periorbital area, in the superficial layer of the dermis in other areas with thinner skin. For injections, the blanching technique is often used, in which the gel is injected superficially directly into the lines of skin creases. No additional anesthesia is required.

Belotero Soft ® can be combined within one procedure with a denser filler of the line - Balance. Combinations with botox and hyaluronic fillers of other brands are not prohibited.

Result of application

The effect of contour plastics with soft hyaluronic gel appears immediately after the end of the procedure and becomes more evident in 1-2 weeks. The rejuvenating result of beauty injections lasts for 9-12 months.

Post-procedure side effects are minor: redness of the skin, swelling, itching, and slight pain in the injected areas disappear within 3-5 days. On the day of the session, you should not wear makeup, and for a few days it is advisable to limit touching the areas where contour correction was performed, to refrain from drinking alcohol. Sunbathing, bathing procedures and intensive sports activities are prohibited for two weeks.
 

Contraindications

Belotero Soft Lidocaine ® injections are prohibited if:

  • individual intolerance to the components of the filler;
  • pregnancy, breast-feeding;
  • under the age of 18;
  • epilepsy;
  • malignant tumors;
  • low blood clotting.

Temporary contraindications for contour plastics are inflammatory processes in the body, taking anticoagulants, skin infections in the area of the planned injections.
 

Storage and transportation 

The temperature of the preparation storage should not exceed +25C and should not be lower than +2C. Protect from sunlight, overheating, freezing, packaging damage.
