Basic properties

Dense filler YouthFill Shape based on hyaluronic acid is used for volumetric modeling, elimination of disproportions and correction of facial asymmetry. This product of South Korean production is a budget, but not less qualitative alternative to intradermal fillers of European and American brands. Despite its lower price, bioimplant provides a natural and long-lasting volumizing effect, and does not cause allergic reactions or other complications. The presence of lidocaine in the gel composition makes the procedure as comfortable as possible for both patients and cosmetologists.
 

Main characteristics

The product is produced by YouthFill Co., which also produces fillers of the more popular brand Sardenya, and is designed by the specialists who created the popular Dermalax line in the past (the producer is the South Korean concern of the same name). Products YouthFill are an improved version of Dermalax and Sardenya fillers, and at the same time they cost less. 

The YouthFill family is represented by three products for injectable contour plastics:

  • Fine - for smoothing fine lines and wrinkles;
  • Deep - for correction of medium and deep skin folds, lip augmentation;
  • Shape - for volumetric modeling.

The active ingredient of volumetric gel is cross-linked hyaluronic acid at a concentration of 24 mg/ml. The preparation also contains lidocaine (3 ml/ml) and phosphate buffer. The content of hyaluronan polysaccharide is the same in all fillers in the line. The high density of YouthFill Shape and its ability to create and hold volume is due to the large number of cross-links between the polymer chains.

During the production process, the product undergoes several stages of purification, so it contains a minimum amount of endotoxins, residues of cross-linking agent BDDE and is not dangerous to health. The high quality of the filler is confirmed by the European CE certificate.

The gel for injection is available in ready-to-use 1 ml syringes.
 

Application area

Hyaluronic filler is used for minimally invasive correction:

  • chin;
  • cheeks;
  • cheekbones;
  • temporal area;
  • nose.

Indications for volumetric contour plastics are:

  • disproportion and asymmetry of facial features;
  • lack of volume of soft tissues due to age-related changes or sudden weight loss;
  • sagging skin;
  • imperfections in the shape of the nose (drooping tip, bump, depression, split tip);
  • deformation of the facial oval.

To augment lips, a softer filler, YouthFill Deep, should be used. The volumetric gel is suitable for mature women and men, as well as young patients (at least 18 years old) who want to make their facial features more attractive.
 

Procedure protocol

The procedure is carried out by a cosmetologist who has a medical education and has been trained to work with the preparation, after consultation with the patient and the exclusion of contraindications. Immediately before injections the skin is cleaned and treated with an antiseptic. The gel is injected into the dermis or subdermally using techniques:

  • linear retrograde;
  • fan;
  • bolus.

In most cases, a single procedure is enough to achieve the desired result. If aesthetic defects are not corrected at the first attempt, a follow-up treatment can be performed in a month. The result may last up to 18 months, but the speed of disintegration of the active substance depends on the individual characteristics of the patient's body.
 

Result of application

The effect of volumetric contour plastics is usually noticeable immediately after the procedure, the final result can be assessed after 2 weeks. Swelling, bruising, skin thickening and pain go away after a few days. Despite the fact that the price of YouthFill Shape is quite low, the filler is not visible under the skin, does not migrate and does not cause complications.

On the day of the procedure patients should refrain from drinking coffee, alcohol, using makeup, for a week - from bathing procedures, bathing in the pool and open water, intensive physical activity. Sunbathing and massage of the injected areas are prohibited for 2 weeks.
 

Contraindications

The procedure is not performed in the case of:

  • blood clotting disorders;
  • epilepsy;
  • autoimmune and mental disorders;
  • decompensated diabetes;
  • oncology;
  • pregnancy and lactation;
  • a history of severe allergies.

Temporary contraindications to YouthFill Shape injections are colds, skin infections in the area of the planned injections, taking antibiotics and anticoagulants.
 

Storage and transportation conditions

Like most fillers, the preparation should be protected from heat and light, but not frozen. The suitable storage temperature is up to 25°C.
