Main characteristics of Stylage XXL Bi-SOFT, hyaluronic acid-based filler 1 ml

The differences of the Bi-SOFT series did not affect the composition and components of Stylage XXL, they remained unchanged. The new series has improved the ergonomic characteristics of the main working tool of the cosmetologist, a syringe.  Packaging and instructions have also changed, but since the changes have not affected the filler itself, the new packaging also does not bear any special markings. While the improvements are quite important for the result:

• offset center of gravity of the piston for greater stability,
• innovative SOFT TOUCH surface for more grip,
• color-coded for quick product identification,
• increased handle area for reduced force during operation,
• concave flange shape for less slippage,
• special grading on the grip plate for aspiration sampling,
• elliptical shape of the stop and increased grip area for a comfortable procedure.

Subcutaneous implant Stylage XXL Bi-SOFT is a volumetric implant designed to restore large volumes of tissue and skin. The main component is hyaluronic acid at a concentration of 21 mg/ml. The auxiliary components are phosphate buffer pH 7.2 and mannitol.

The addition of the antioxidant mannitol to the fillers is the most revolutionary step in the creation of the preparations of the French laboratory VIVACY. The six-atom alcohol mannitol helps to overcome oxidative stress, increase the resilience of the filler to hyaluronidase, prolong its stay in the dermis and reduce post-procedural side effects such as swelling, redness and bruising.

Stylage XXL Bi-SOFT does not contain the anesthetic lidocaine, so for patients with a high threshold of sensitivity it is recommended to anesthetize the skin beforehand, as the volumetric injections are performed at the level of the hypodermis and can be felt as painful. 

Stylage XXL Bi-SOFT can be purchased separately in a syringe or in a package with two 1 ml syringes. The box includes 30G needles and a set of two 25G and 23G cannulas. The package also includes 2 stickers for the patient and doctor and an Instruction leaflet.

The main active ingredient - hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin - is stabilized in the VIVACY laboratory using the IPN-Like formula. The technology involves cross-linking with additional cross-links between sodium hyaluronate chains. This cross-linking creates a dense, viscous, degradation-resistant product and prolongs its duration of action.

The non-animal nature of the origin of hyalronic acid guarantees its compatibility with the patient's tissues and the absence of a negative immune response and allergic reactions.

Application area of Stylage XXL Bi-SOFT, filler based on hyaluronic acid 1 ml

Although a higher concentration of hyaluronic acid is available (e.g. Stylage L and Stylage XL), Stylage XXL Bi-SOFT is the most viscous and volume-building gel. Stylage XXL Bi-SOFT is designed to replenish volume in large areas, it is used to correct deep wrinkles, adding volume in the middle and lower thirds of the face, to restore the "triangle of youth", the corners of which tend to fall down with age. 

Mostly, the contour plastics with this preparation is chosen by ageing patients with ptosis of the skin due to age, stresses and injuries, weight loss. The indications are also:

• filling of deep wrinkles and creases,
• bone remodeling,
• improving the shape of the nose,
• adding volume to the cheekbones and chin,
• elimination of asymmetry,
• non-surgical "lift" of jowls.

Stylage XXL Bi-SOFT is also used for correction for young clients who want to form more expressive facial features in the area of the cheekbones and chin.

Due to the increased viscosity of the product, the filler is not used on areas with thin delicate skin where the filler can become visible under the skin.

Result of the procedure

After being injected under the skin, the dense volumizer forms a volume through the gel buffer. With time, hygroscopic hyaluronic acid attracts water molecules, the patient's tissue is deeply hydrated and the formation of new fibroblasts is stimulated. Fibroblasts subsequently become collagen and elastin fibers. Thus, the phased effect of the dense filler occurs over a period of 9-12 months, after which the hyaluronate breaks down into CO2 and water and is excreted naturally through the excretory organs.

Procedure protocol 

Before contour plastics, the cosmetologist discusses the patient's medical history and plans the result. Anesthesia is applied to cleaned and disinfected skin. After exposure to the cream, the cosmetologist injects the product into the deeper layers of the dermis or subcutaneous fat. Cannulas or needles with a minimum diameter are used for comfortable correction. 
Technique of introduction of the filler is chosen by a specialist, taking into account the tasks set by the patient. 
After the introduction of volumetric cosmetologist kneads the treated area, forming the desired volume and shape of the corrector.

Contraindications

Contraindications to injections include:

• age under 18,
• allergy to any component of the product,
• pregnancy and lactation,
• cancer,
• systemic diseases,
• epilepsy,
• panic fear of injections,
• presence of scars and fibrous tissue in the area of application of the product,
• tendency to form keloid scars,
• taking blood thinning medications,
• any inflammation accompanied by skin damage, fever and malaise.
