Hyamax Contour

Main characteristics

Hyamax Contour is a dense intradermal filler, which is produced as a transparent sterile gel. The content of hyaluronic acid in the product is the highest among all the fillers of the Hyamax line, which includes absorbable bioimplants Lips, Fine, Deep, Extra Deep, Volumizer. The concentration of hyaluronate in this gel is 25 mg/ml.

Contour is a monophasic filler, the main component of which is hyaluronic acid with only cross-linked chains, without free molecules. A standard BDDE crosslinking agent is used for crosslinking. 

Hyaluronic acid contained in the gel has a structure similar to the polymer that is a component of the extracellular matrix of connective and epithelial tissue in the human body. Its chains are cross-linked using Thixobrid technology, the uniqueness of which lies in the high degree of purification of the product from BDDE residues. The product is non-toxic, apyrogenic, does not cause severe edema and fibrosis, discomfort during intradermal injection of the preparation is minimal.
The filler not only fills wrinkles and compensates for the lack of soft tissue, but also promotes the production of natural hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin.

Application area

Injection product is suitable for the injection of areas on the face, thighs and buttocks, for intimate plasty. 

Indications for contouring and volumizing with Hyamax Contour Gel are:

• deep skin creases, including marionette wrinkles and nasolabial folds;
• indistinct facial oval;
• lipoatrophy of tissues;
• insufficient soft tissue volume in the cheekbone, cheeks, and chin areas;
• facial disproportions;
• the desire to correct the shape of the nose (to remove the hump, a cavity, correct the split or raise the drooping tip);
• the need to increase the volume, to create an even surface of the hips and buttocks.

The filler can be successfully used for intimate plastics. Hyaluronic acid injections are effective for mature women and men, as well as young people over the age of 18.
 

Procedure protocol

Intradermal injections may only be done by specialists who have medical education and have been trained to work with the filler. Before the procedure, the skin is cleaned and treated with antiseptic. If the patient has a low pain threshold, local anesthesia is recommended. 

The gel is injected into the dermis, subcutaneous fat and over the periosteum. The technique is chosen depending on the area and the purpose of the procedure. Injections are done using 23G, 27G needles and cannulas. One session is usually enough to achieve the desired result.
 

Result of application

The effect of contouring and volumetric plastics is noticeable immediately after injections and lasts up to 6-9 months. The most common side effects after the procedure are erythema, mild swelling, bruising, itching, and painful sensations when touching the injected areas. These undesirable effects go away within 5-7 days.

For a week after the session patients should limit physical activity, refrain from visiting swimming pools, bathhouses and saunas. Sunbathing and visiting hot countries and places with high temperature is forbidden for 2 weeks
 

Contraindications

Injections cannot be done if:

• pregnancy and lactation;
• blood diseases;
• epilepsy and autoimmune disorders;
• decompensation of diabetes mellitus;
• oncological diseases;
• tendency to form keloid scars;
• individual intolerance to the preparation.

The procedure should be postponed if there are wounds and inflammations on the skin, and also if the patient is taking blood-thinning medications.
 

Storage and transportation

Temperature conditions: from +2C to +25C. The preparation is stored away from sunlight and radiators. The filler cannot be frozen. The package is opened in the presence of the client.
