An intradermal implant Soft is the lightest filler in the Belotero range, which also includes fillers Balance (for smoothing all wrinkles), Intense (for fighting deep wrinkles, soft volumization), Volume (for volume correction), preparations of the line Lips - Contour and Shape.

The active ingredient of the gel is hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin at a concentration of 20 mg/ml, which is represented by crosslinked and non-crosslinked chains. Like all fillers in the line, Belotero Soft is manufactured using the patented Cohesive Polydensified Matrix (CPM) technology, which produces a product that:

• provides a natural and predictable result, and is invisible under the skin;
• thanks to the thorough cleansing of breakdown products BDDE is well accepted by the dermal tissues, causing no allergic reactions or other complications;
• has high cohesiveness - the ability to be "glued" and retain its shape under the influence of deforming forces (e.g., facial expressions and gravity).

Phosphate buffer, which is also included in the product, makes it possible to maintain a normal pH of the skin and helps to reduce post-procedure swelling.

The filler is available in 1 ml syringes and the kit includes two 30G ½ needles. The price of Belotero Soft is not significantly different from the version containing lidocaine. The product without anesthetic is used for patients who are allergic to lidocaine. The procedure is well tolerated without anesthesia, but most often an anesthetic gel or cream is used to reduce discomfort.

Procedure protocol

The correction of wrinkles with hyaluronic gel can be carried out by a cosmetologist who was trained and certified in the use of the filler. The preparation is injected into the deep (around the eyes) and superficial layers of the dermis (in all other cases) after preliminary cleansing, antiseptic treatment and anesthesia of the injected areas.

The most popular way of injecting Belotero Soft is using blanching technique, which implies filling the smallest folds with gel. The procedure lasts 30-40 minutes.
 

Result of application

The rejuvenating effect of the beauty injections is immediately visible at the end of the procedure and appears within a maximum of 1-2 weeks. The result remains for up to 9-12 months, depending on the area of treatment, the amount of the injected gel and the speed of hyaluronidase production in the patient's skin.

Side effects in the form of redness of the skin, slight swelling, itching and painful sensations when touching the injection areas can last 3-5 days. Until the traumatized tissues heal, it is undesirable to use decorative cosmetics, drink alcohol, and often touch the skin. Places of injections should be treated with antiseptic. For 2 weeks, you need to avoid tanning, bathing procedures, you need to protect the exposed areas with a cream with a UV-filter.
 

Contraindications

Contraindications for injections of hyaluronic acid are:

• age under 18;
• pregnancy, lactation;
• autoimmune disorders;
• low blood clotting;
• malignant tumors;
• epilepsy.

The procedure should be postponed if the patient has inflammatory processes, skin infections in the area of the planned injections, if blood-thinning medications are taken.
 

Storage and transportation 

The light filler is stored under standard conditions for all injectable products: protected from light and heat, at +2C-+25C. Do not freeze, do not overheat, do not damage the blister.
